My favourite magnetic loop for HF pedestrian mobile

Most HF pedestrian mobile activity seems to be on 14 - 28 MHz, where it's easier to build efficient portable antennas. However due to its activity and propagation 7 MHz is also an excellent mobile band. In this video I compare copper and aluminium magnetic loops of different construction. You'll hear contacts from a single afternoon's pedestrian mobile operating on 7 MHz. The tests demonstrate that HF pedestrian mobile with easily carried antennas is both effective and practical.
